*This is the last price drop before I oil it up and stash it away in the long term safe for good."
Alright guys here is a Savage Axis in .308 with a 22" barrel. Alot of people here are probably familiar with these rifles. Long story short, I bought this back in 2017 for some random project with some friends, not quite sure. Shot it a grand total of 2 times, a total of 40 rounds of Federal XM80 150g and 20 rounds of Federal Gold Medal Match 168g just to check for accuracy. Literally sat in the back end of the safe and never saw the light of day since September 17th 2017. With the regular M80 and stock trigger it shot ~1.5moa 5 shot group and ~1.25moa 5 shot group with the 168g. Pretty mediocre to be honest but again that was from 2 range trips so your mileage may vary. I have absolutely zero use for this type of rifle so it should definitely find a new home. No Accutrigger since its the original model. On here is a Vortex Crossfire II 3-18 standard crosshair mounted on a 20moa rail base from EGW with Burris XTR medium height rings. Zero rust on everything. Bolt is smooth. Honestly nothing really special here. You could spend a little extra for the newer Axis II model so I tried to price this well below the current big box store prices. This would make a solid entry gun into hunting or a backup rifle. Here's the item description from Savage if you are curious --> https://www.savagearms.com/content?p=firearms&a=product_summary&s=57233
$225 for entire setup, or $175 for rifle only.
