I'm not certain, but I believe the.30-30 is surprisingly one of the more scarce calibers in a Savage 99, and like everything else, condition is critical. I paid $300 for my excellent '54 .308 99F with 2X7X32 glass, 15 years ago. My LGS has a very poor 99 .30-30 in the used rack for $475, which is the cheapest 99 in any caliber I've seen in some time. but It's too ratty for me, though it's kinda a rare set up long barrel. PAX
