Big J's sold me the .17 HMR for 700 plus Tax up here in WA and there is over a hundred bucks worth of 17 HMR ammo easy.
The Vortex Diamondback 4x16 was 350 plus Warne Rings 50 plus the j Dewey cleaning supplies 50-75 ez.
So you are saving 400.00 to 450.00 for 18 rounds fired and the rifle sighted in correctly.
