Don't forget the magazine counts for three American made parts (floor plate, follower and body) you just cannot use the foreign mags until you replace a few more parts.

It's ironic that an after market high cap. American mag. is illegal in a stock Saiga until you get your parts count down to 13. If 3 of the parts your replacing is the mag. assembly to get to 10 you then can no longer use the stock foreign made mag. unless your count is down to 7 or less.

Did you follow that.There are very few home converted Saiga's out there that can use both foreign (stock), and domestic mags.Almost every Saiga I've seen for sale that uses the domestic mag in their part's count can no longer use the Saiga mag. that came with it.
