TCGC has been doing their annual MAD (Member Appreciation Day) event for several years now. They had firearm/accessories vender booths, food venders and a beer garden (the club would be closed to all shooting and then the beer would be available for consumption), a small carnival for the little one's and live fire demo guns for folks to shoot.

It will be interesting how this event at ARPC goes. Personally, I think it will do well. Having Bi-Mart involved is a huge plus….

Yes, I agree with Bi-Mart being a part of it it will be huge. Unfortunately we won't be having a carnival or a beer garden. NO alcohol allowed on the property. The Range will be closed to all shooting except for the Vendors and the guns they will bring. But, it is a great opportunity for the area shooters to come and find a new firearm.

To clarify, alcohol is not allowed on club property at TCGC either. They made an exemption for that day only and all the ranges were closed prior.
I thought it sent the wrong message to allow it at the time, but wasn't my call to make….

Also, not trying to say one event is better than the other, just the overall "concept" of it is a good thing. I hope it's a great success and does become an annual event. :)

I get what your saying. Someone did bring up having a beer garden. That got nixed real fast. The carnival Idea might happen in the future. I'll bring that up the next chance I get to. It doesn't have to be a big carnival. Just one for the little kids. This is a work in progress and we want to make it fun for all. Hence why we have the free shoot for the kids. I'm up to hear suggestions for next year that I can bring up. This is a big event for the small staff at ARPC. BiMart has their team on it also.

The shuttle is must and glad to see that available. I'm no longer a TCGC member, but still have friend's that are TCGC staff. I'll reach out and see what they have planned for as far as activities go for this year. I'm sure they've made some tweaks here and there since their initial event. The kiddie carnival can be simple. Stuff like face painting. Maybe a dunk booth, etc.

I'll send you a pm if I can think of anything helpful and not clutter this announcement up.

I think Mountain men, tomahawks and black powder for a rendezvous. Is the ARPC event that plus modern arms, or is it a modern arms expo type event?

It's modern sporting arms. Although CVA is going to be there also. Although I do not know what the vendors will be bringing as far as firearms go.
