Sad day for my AK-47

i was wondering.what kind of ammo have you been shooting corrosive or non ?thanks

Herters, Brown Bear and Wolf. All steel case non-corrosive. Was shooting Herters when it malfunctioned.

wow it must have had a defective firing pin and/or or retaining pin before you bought it.hopefully they will step up and warranty the part.good luck

Odd that.... that being said and documented is infact RARE.

A lot of people shy from Commie parts... but unlike kiddie walmart toys and.... well... everything else from walmart... AKs rock. At 100 million units and counting.... and no end in sight... I dont think they are a commercial failure.

Simple fix, wish it had happened to me.

My friend in High school had a yugo and we trashed that car.....but it took a licking and kept on ticking......it finally died when we drove it off a cliff in a sand pit......those were the days.....pure fearless and dumb.....
