Now here is a bizarre one. A modern pepperbox-esque pistol in .25 ACP that fires two barrels per trigger pull, but skirts the NFA definition of a machine-gun.

Posting for the grins ... or WTFs.

Heck, why not? Very interesting. Personally, since feeding nor even rotation would be an issue, I'd handload (probably hot.. hey, it would be my gun) some long 60-85gr lead slugs in it.

Seems like a .22LR version would be preferable simply because it's just a weird toy and that would at least make it more economical to dink with
True. And it's not ammunition reliant like an auto pistol so .22 would actually be kinda viable..
For a handloader though.. anything is better than a .22

If the price was right, and assuming it would pass legal muster in Oregon, I'd be half-tempted to acquire one for no other reasons than they are weird and, I'd imagine, they won't make many of them. A .22LR version would be fun for the plinking giggles.

Heck, if legal, and one has a sense of adventure, maybe a double SxS shotgun with a selector switch could be in the future. By sense of adventure, in this case, I mean "don't mind bruising." :s0114:
