They were a special order by Lew Horton Distribution with a limited production run of only 640 by S&W's Performance Center.
Only two mags run through it by the original owner. As near as new as you can get.
Original box, two magazines and paperwork.

This Model 4513, a limited edition pistol released by the S&W Performance Center, has been branded the 'Shorty 45'. This line compact pistols was produced exclusively for Lew Horton Distributer.
These guns were delivered Sept. 25, 1996 to S&W Promotional Department in Springfield, MA to be used at various shooting clubs to promote the model.
The pistol has a 3.75 inch barrel, hand fitted for uniform repositioning with a spherical bushing (Briley) at the front of the slide. Novak LoMount 3 dot sights.
Alloy frame with left side controls. S&W checkered black plastic wrap around grip & checkered front strap. Beveled magazine well."
