UPDATE: Sold...thank you all for looking.

So here's the deal. I bought this S&W CSX E series brand new from Sportmans Warehouse late last year on a whim. I take it to the Clackamas gun range and fire literally 2 or 3 magazines out of it and the right side safety fell out of the gun. I tried to reinsert, but it won't stay in. As best I can tell, there's a clip or spring or something that fell out when I shot it due to faulty manufacturing and it was lost at the gun range. It's not a part that can be ordered so the gun has to be sent back to S&W. Unlike other guns, the right safety has to stay in for the gun safety to work reliably. I'm completely over Smith and Wesson and this gun. If you want this thing and want to deal with sending it back to get it repaired, I have a deal for you.

$400 for a practically brand new, almost unfired CSX and all the mags you see in the photo, most of which have never been used. Ya, I went all stupid and bought up a bunch of mags thinking this would be my new daily carry.

I prefer to do the transfer as Money Market Pawn in SE Portland, since they are close to me. 13607 SE Powell Blvd, Portland, OR 97236.

$400 cash and you pay whatever the transfer fee is, which I think is gonna be something like $50-60. If you want to do a trade, I'm big into CZ alloy frame models, like the P-01, Rami, CZ 75 PCR and especially any CZ in .40 caliber. Also looking for Dan Wesson 1911s with alloy frames. 644522627_34662561820001842_8873963707217982173_n.jpg 643451101_34662561830001841_2702827265422014530_n.jpg 643430253_34662561833335174_1481671312958737687_n.jpg

I'd buy it for 400 if you send it back and get it repaired by s&w. I'll pay the shipping fee it costs. Otherwise I think it'll be hard to sell this on here in its current condition.

It shouldn't be too hard to ship back. I sent a 380EZ back for recall repair and I remember it being just like regular mail - no transfer or FFL required.

s&w warranty is hard to beat. they'll send you the shipping label and you can drop off at any FedEx for those interested. its lifetime also regardless if you're the original buyer or not.

Contact S&W for a return authorization and send it back. It's not difficult.

I understand your frustration. I had a similar experience with S&W over a brand new 629, the barrel actually unscrewed from the frame after 5 rounds were fired. 😳 This happened the day I purchased it. S&W had it repaired in a week.

Honestly, I wouldn't want the liability of selling someone a defective firearm..
