I'm not sure about the options on these from that time period, so... half lug or full, fluted cylinder or non-fluted, wood grips too or Hogue only? Thanks .

Keith, good questions. Half lug barrel, fluted cylinder. It no longer has the walnut grips but has aftermarket rubber grips.

I tried earlier to post up pics but have so far been unsuccessful.

Already answered but yes stainless. I think (not 100%) that S&W universally uses a "6" prefix to denote stainless for their revolvers. A Model 29 is a blued N frame revolver in .44 mag while a 629 is a stainless N frame.
