Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
The broken piece of metal (drill bit?...pin?) is inside the frame (where the magazine release fits when you reverse it). The magazine release functions perfectly fine...but from the right side of the gun (for a left handed shooter). It should be reversible, but there's a piece of metal lodged inside the milled out hole for the magazine release on the left side (for a right handed shooter). The metal is flush with the frame, so it doesn't interfere with anything else but it also cannot be drilled out, pulled out or punched out.
