So I am in a revolver acquiring phase and as I carry them this one caught my eye. It's an old LAPD gun. It looks gorgeous and frankly, I feel it has a history based on some marks and such.

Nice. They have records on that Sgt. and a little added provenance can double or triple the value of the piece.

Oh my thats a perrty one there! The markings add some interest to it for sure. Could be a fun project trying to research it some.
I have a couple 1917's and can say they are a very fun and easy to shoot revolver. The moon clips on the other hand tend to drive me nuts. Finally made myself a tool to pop the spent cases off them.
