Mine came with a threaded barrel, I didn't know it was optional.

Yeah, I bought the non threaded because I didn't like the look of the threaded barrel sticking out of the end of the slide. Its about $75 more for the threaded one. I just got the Twin Tech Tactical barrel today. It was easy to install and fits inside the slide when the thread protector is installed. It looks clean and hidden. A quick swap for the barrel adapter and spin on the suppressor. NICE!

Is there a factory threaded barrel you can order from Ruger?

I've heard that you can contact Ruger and send them your barrel to get threaded for a price. Not 100% on this information. I bought mine with threads on it... you know... so I can use a "solvent trap".
