Because it jammed at 8,401! Maybe.Apparently, 8,400 is the new 10,000.![]()
Yeah, I was wondering about that, why not round up to 8500 anyway much less 10,000Because it jammed at 8,401! Maybe.
is there a new hearing? If measure 114 hasn't been decided next month,
Not that I know of. What I should have said is if we are still in limbo, I will get more.is there a new hearing?
But not surprising.That's fairly impressive.
Though it wouldn't take much to make a visually unnoticeable difference in angle think your right about the same grip angle. The arched grip on the Glocks I don't care for, similar to arched mainspring housings on a 1911.... make all the difference in how it fits in the hand.I just read the G&A article on the RXM. Looking at the pictures I wondered if Ruger changed the grip angle from what Glock uses, because it looks like it. Nope the angle is the same, it's just the the back of the grip is parallel to the front and isn't arched like the Glock. That may make quite a bit of difference in how it fits the hand and may improve the "shootability" of the gun for folks that don't like the way a Glock fits. (like me)
It's a much more modular gun than a Glock due to the removeable FCU and it's cheaper.
I'll bet Ruger sells a lot of these guns.
I'm not a fan of the arched mainspring housing on a 1911, either. I wondered about a different angle for the new frames, but that would likely change the mag compatibility. It's not dumb to make guns that share mags with a Glock. The RXM is a much better pistol than a Glock by design and as it becomes popular will open up many custom options in grip modules (that may even match the 1911 grip angle, not that the RXM might need that).
You dont have to change the magazine insertion angle to change the grip angle, the grip angle is all outside profile geometry and very subtle IMO. P80 intentionally made their grip angles to that of a 1911 (IIRC) and those all accept Glock magazines. P80s fit my hand like a 1911.I'm not a fan of the arched mainspring housing on a 1911, either. I grew up shooting a Ruger Standard 22, which has a grip angle like a Luger. Don't know why I don't jive with the Glock, but I don't.I really dont know why the 1911 grip angle isnt a standard by now but thats another subject.
Many folks don't...Don't know why I don't jive with the Glock, but I don't.
I grew up with an old Ruger MKI with the luger angle and while I love the old iconic gun the grip angle I will never like. One reason I took so long getting into modern plastic guns is because I felt the Glocks were the best but just dont like their grip angle (or triggers).I grew up shooting a Ruger Standard 22, which has a grip angle like a Luger. Don't know why I don't jive with the Glock, but I don't.
