It comes with the original Ruger 40 cal magazine and a pre-installed Picatinny rail for mounting your choice of optics. Ruger is only making them in 9mm right now, which is a bit shy of the power of the 40. Having had the older 9 and the older 40 I say Ruger should of come out with the 40 instead.

I had one years ago, never really discovered an actual use for it....buddy talked me out of it & 2 weeks later announced it worked fine & I was invited over for fresh grilled backstrap....

This is the PC4 / PC40 model in .40 S&W caliber Ruger made between the late 90's and early 2000's for Law Enforcement officers. It's a great shooting gun that really slings the .40 cal down range.

It uses the Ruger P series handgun magazines. Like the Ruger P91 for example. Let me know if you have any other questions.
