I have been looking at these lately. Ruger made a run of these last year, stainless and blue.

First I've heard about them, it just went onto my top 5 list. Gunjoker has cammo ones and stainless, didn't see and wood blued

We had some of those for work guns. They even had the boat paddle stock, cool guns

I found 1 wood stock 357 and they want 1699.99 for it.....ouch

Neat guns. I have a couple 77/357s, and a 77/44. Thought they stopped making them a few years back; glad to hear they may be producing them again.

Over the years the offerings have varied. Mine are stainless with synthetic stocks.

What OAL do you load your 357 Max to? I can measure a magazine for my rifle to see if it may accommodate the Max.




EDIT - looked it up, Max OAL is nearly 2". This would require something creative if wanting to feed repeating rounds from a magazine.

357 max 1.897 with 180 gr. hornady
l was thinking that maybe 22 hornet magazine could be modified.
22 hornet was also available in this rifle 22 hornet c.o.l 1.780
maybe just have some freebore to load 357 mag long.

yes they made wood stocked ones, I know that. but the recent ones are camo stock.

Id have to have the wood. Camo is not my thing

Ditto. Only hip to wood stocks. Synthetic, meh. Camo, no go.

Synthetic has its place in western oregon. My duck gun is Synthetic, I'd hate to take wood into a monsoon

Ive looked at them myself. Looks like a fun way to plink some 357!
