LOL, why use something simple when I can spend a few dollars and hours making one?I've just used a finishing nail.
Well you could cut it to the length of the storage slot in the grip with diagonal cutters then finish the ends with sand paper and touch it up with a birchwood-casy blueing pen.LOL, why use something simple when I can spend a few dollars and hours making one?
It was more of a joke, I will probably just use a nail unless someone comes up with dimensions.Well you could cut it to the length of the storage slot in the grip with diagonal cutters then finish the ends with sand paper and touch it up with a birchwood-casy blueing pen.
Winner!Well you could cut it to the length of the storage slot in the grip with diagonal cutters then finish the ends with sand paper and touch it up with a birchwood-casy blueing pen.
I think I will laser engrave it.Winner!
Cerakote it in a micro multicam pattern for bonus points.
That's the spirit!!!I think I will laser engrave it.
I've done the cut down nail trick on a Glock before as well. Bought one with the replaceable backstraps but the long pin I needed was gone so I found the right nail and made one.It was more of a joke, I will probably just use a nail unless someone comes up with dimensions.
And also why we almost didn't make it back!this is why we were able to land on the moon

I like the finishing nail solution. Creative ... functional!I seem to have lost the pin, anyone have a moment to measure one for me so I can make a new one?
I think you're maybe imagining something else? This seems standard on even Smiths IIRC.Disassembly pin on a revolver? WTH Ruger?
You may be correct, I just don't remember any pins last time I took down my 529. I could be mistaken, just don't recall any.I think you're maybe imagining something else? This seems standard on even Smiths IIRC.
From memory, they're like the first thing you do, so easily forgotten about. You may be correct, I just don't remember any pins last time I took down my 529. I could be mistaken, just don't recall any.
