I wanted a "upgraded" takedown charger with a brace, but I also like it without a brace for shooting off of a bench / table. In short I wanted "versatility". The compact size makes these extremely "portable" (fits in backpack) and are also excellent suppressor hosts.
2 factory cold hammer-forged threaded 10" barrels, 2 complete sets of stocks (one with a pistol brace), internals replaced with KIDD components (bullet proof / fix all of the little "quirks") & BX-trigger is the "direction" I went.
Upgraded parts / additional items -
* Green Mountain laminated stock
* Ruger black polymer stock w/ COPPER CUSTOM pistol brace adapter, SHOCKWAVE blade & KAK "buffer" tube
* Two Ruger 10" cold hammer-forged threaded barrels 1/2x28 thread pattern (swapping out to standard pistol or braced is done by turning one screw / easy)
* Ruger BX trigger
* KIDD firing pin
* KIDD extractor
* KIDD bold handle charging assembly w/guide rod and springs
* KIDD extra guide rod
* KIDD auto bolt release
* KIDD magazine latch plunger (stainless steel and stronger spring)
* Wilson Combat "shok-buff" (recoil buffer) and an extra / spare as they eventually wear
* Nordic Components extended magazine release
* UTG picatinny rail (factory rail included)
* Ruger BX-15 magazine (new in package) & factory provided BX-15 magazine
* Ruger BX-25x2 (50 round magazine) new in package
3 magazines in total
All factory "take-off" parts included except for the trigger pack (put in sisters 10/22)
This build set me back $1000 dollars
I'm letting this go as I have to cover some HUGE BILLS... unfortunately I CANNOT ACCEPT TRADES
Just add your favorite optic of choice and let the fun begin.
The round count on this is somewhere between 200-300 rounds.
Also includes factory box, lock, bipod and all paperwork / spent shell case (factory test fire).
Bottom line is why not get more for less money spent and or purchase a receiver, bolt & trigger pack and build a second one / lots of potential being offered here.
