A few years ago I bought a Ruger American Compact 7mm-08 for the grandkids. Fast forward 4+ years and it is too short for them. So last summer I picked up a Ruger American Predator stock on ebay. Turns out that it took longer stock bolts than the "little" stock, about 1/4-3/8 too short. So I called Ruger and told the young lady my issue. She sent me 4 bolts, and no charge. Fast forward to today, took it to the range. It took 4 clicks "right" and was right back to POA. With the proper holdover, I was ringing the 350yd gong everytime.
