Romanian AK build

Picked up a romy kit cheap a few weeks ago with a new GM barrel and a Childers 80% receiver. It had been partially assembled but it was obvious the guy didnt know what he was doing and stopped. Tore it all apart and reriveted everything , set the headspace, drilled and pinned it all. Normally I like to refinish this stuff but this one self identifies as a well worn battle implement..

That is freakin awesome. I have that exact kit I need to have built up. Just waiting on grabbing a Romy barrel. Mine also has that patina finish, and I'll be looking to have the receiver somewhat match like you did.

Those palmswells are cool. Think you'll throw on a reverse dong?
