Rock pit or public land range around Centralia?

Going to be visiting my In-Laws this weekend and would like to get my Father-In-Law some time behind his G19. Anyone know of a rock pit or spot on public land we could do some pistol shooting within a reasonable distance of Centralia?

Capitol forest is less than an hour away. Paved road right up to a popular spot.

Caveats

Recent weather may have dropped a tree or 2 on that road. Typically they get cut up next day.
Road kinda sucks in winter.

Pe Ell Sportsman's Club has a nice range should you ever decide to join a club.

Head down to Longview then out OB Hwy and take Germany creek and 10 ish miles up the road onto Stimson land. Clear cut to your hearts content.

Thanks for the input everyone. We went out to the Triangle Pit. Had a good time, didn't get shot and only got flagged a couple times.
