One of only two (that I'm aware of) semiautomatic handguns in 22 WMR/22 Magnum on the market, the other being the KelTec PMR30, this Rock Island 1911-style gun is a looker and hella fun to shoot.
I say 1911 "style" because it's not quite identical in terms of function to a standard 1911. This gun has an open slide, similar to the Beretta 92 series of pistols. This sheds weight from the slide and allows it to cycle properly. It has a red fiber optic front sight.
This gun has a round count of approximately 250 rounds, just enough to break it in so it functions smoothly. Unlike some people who I've seen online, this one works wonderfully - with the right ammo. By "right", I mean you need a decent velocity (read: enough power) to cycle the semi-auto action. CCI Maxi Mags (rated @ 1875 FPS)have been shot nearly flawlessly through this gun, with no cycling issues. When I tried Winchester "Dynapoints" (rated @1550 fps), it would not reliably cycle.
The gun is only a few months old. I don't really want to let it go, but I need the funds.
Price is firm, but I'll include 90 rounds of Speer Gold Dot ammo and an extra magazine to sweeten the deal. If you know anything about these pistols, you know that magazines can be nearly impossible to find.
No trades, please. Additional pics available upon request.
If you want a sleek 1911 style pistol that throws a nice fireball and is a blast to shoot, send me a PM and let's make it happen!
