Actually one of many examples . I don't mind Liberals having their say but they are not entitled to their own facts as to saying they haven't said what they said . And then still hold to the assumption that Trump is Hitler ..... talk about burning the candle from both ends . They can't rewrite history fast enough with Trump 47 coming to office .

And a great example it is! So lets roll back a bit to where I said:

To be accurate, they were mostly quoting the republicans that had worked in his administration.
And then we go to the article you linked and find this

"Trump praised Hitler," one of five planned projections from the DNC says, referring to Trump's longest-serving chief-of-staff, four-star Marine Corps. Gen. John Kelly, telling The Atlantic this week that Trump had admirable things to say about the German dictator.

And there is a quote from Waltz about the rally, but remember I said "mostly" so I guess we would need to figure out if "mostly" is 50.01% of the comments or some other amount

John Kelly ...... The Atlantic . That says it all . I doubt Kelly would take a chance at lying on subjects that have been debunked already if he wasn't trying to sell a failure of a book . Again he and others have exposed themselves like MSM for purposely taking topics out of context to fit there facts ..... hence my insight to your post about assumptions to fit ones own facts .

Good riddance!
I never lived under his rule but my father in law said his commercial property tax's were 27% under Carter. People had to wait in line for fuel, and you had certain days you were allowed to fuel up depending on your license #. Carter told people to save heat and put on a sweater.
Why people mourn dictators like that I have no idea.

Interesting observation on age at death. I've always figured being president had to be one of the most stressful jobs in the world. I've noticed past presidents' getting grey hair quickly once they took office. But those ages are remarkable. Maybe stress leads to a longer life? (ha, ha) But maybe the health care has something to do with it. Actually, now that I think about it, maybe that the energy and strength it takes to become president in the first place is responsible.
Yes, I think President Obama is a good example. Nice dark hair when he entered office, eight years later totally white hair. Maybe some of that might be attributed to natural aging, but he was only 47 when elected.

Calvin Coolidge, Old Silent Cal, never got hot under the collar, was unflappable. Seemingly. Yet he was dead at age 60 not long after he left office. He must've been one of those who bottled up all of his hostilities. FDR was worn out at age 63, but he had been fraught with health issues. LBJ was 64.

My own father died at age 64. Which at the time I thought was a relatively early age. Considering he had been in pretty robust health all his life until he was diagnosed with cancer. I was gladdened to read a news article lately that stated once people get into their 70's, their chances of dying from cancer start dropping off. Plenty of other causes, but cancer recedes.

Johnson, Biden, Carter?

Biden
Obama
Carter

Maybe I'm older put I'd put Johnson on top

Musk, er, Trump
Carter
Biden
Honorable mention to W
I would like to nominate Woodrow Wilson as one of the worst Presidents of all time, and arguably the worst human being ever elected to that office. He was an avowed racist who had no qualms with using targeted racist propaganda towards German-Americans and African-Americans. A real POS.

Man, youre old. Was there anyone that wasn't a racist in the 1910's? Most of the presidents of the 1800's were pure garbage.

In the 1910s? Okay. So what was LBJ's excuse?
LBJ was full of garbage. On one hand he was signing every civil rights doc that came over his desk and the other hand he probably kept a few slaves chained up in the white house basement. Kept the Vietnam war going for fun and of course signed onto the 68 GCA. Not my favorite guy.

To be fair we definitely needed to kill all of those communists.

RIP Jimmy. His charitable work was beyond commendable and he appears to have tried to lived his faith. As to his presidency, well, to put it charitably, was less than successful, but that is ancient history.

In the off chance it is of interest, the Cold War channel covered the late president:

And for the giggles, the referenced The Simpsons clip I still find curiously hilarious:
