This is a Remington rolling block number five in 7 mm Mauser single shot with flip up sights and sling. The sling is obviously not original.
The stock is in good shape, but there are the letters LAM hand carved into the buttstock and an E carved into the forestock. Near the foregrip, there is a small U stamped into the metal.
It is possible that this is from an Uruguayan contract, but there's no other markings that would indicate that.
There is a bit of rust on the barrel. The rifling looks pretty good, but there is some wear at the very front end.
Action works, hammer strikes with good force, trigger pull is not bad at all.
I am interested in trades for lever action rifles and 6" barrel revolvers. I am open to other antique or pre-1950 guns as well.
