from what I can find Remington did not make a model 721 in .300 win . mag. maybe a .300 H&H mag?
barrel been replaced possibly?

Yeah 300 H &H mag is on the barrel. It must of been replaced it shoots 300 weatherby mag

barrel is the 721 style so probably original but as was stated probably just reamed to 300 wby or win mag whichever it is

Yeah 300 H &H mag is on the barrel. It must of been replaced it shoots 300 weatherby mag

so I found out it was rechambered from the factory to 300 Weatherby. LGS looked into it for me and told me more than what my uncle told me.

if that's the case I would definitely see if they would recommend someone to stamp it as such. Shame they didn't leave it as a 300 H&H especially with that beautiful checkering on the stock. Either way best of luck with your sale.

I agree if it was in 300h&h I would have been all over it. Sometimes more is not always worth more.

I think that is the only 721/722 that I have seen checkered. NICE!!
