I have a Remington 788 in .22-250 up for sale. This is a nice rifle, but I've owned it for over a year and a half and never even shot it. I had George at Willamette Valley Gunsmithing in Veneta go through it and he said it looks like a great rifle. He bedded tha action and floated the barrel. I had a new Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x40 scope mounted and bore sighted, also done professionally. The scope also comes with a sunshade (not on the scope in the pictures). I bought it to varmint hunt with, but just haven't used it, and am trying to downsize to stuff I actually use or will use. Part of me hates to part with it since they have such a following and reputation for accuracy, but I hate to see a nice firearm not get used. Can meet at the FFL of your choice in Eugene/Springfield.

PLEASE NOTE - I have a fairly specific list of guns I am interested in. If you offer a trade other than what I have listed below, I am likely to decline unless it's something really amazing.
I can provide more detailed pictures on request. It's in really good condition overall.
The two boxes on the left are partial boxes I took on an ammo trade. The other 5 boxes are full. About 120 rounds altogether.
I think $800 is a fair price, given the scope, smithing, and ammo that are included. I value the rifle at $600, scope at $100-150 (scope was $200 new, rings were at least $30), and ammo at $75-100. I didn't even assign any value to the gunsmithing. If you can show me evidence backing up a different price, I will consider it. I won't split up the package. I'm not desperate to sell it, so I am pretty firm on the price. I just wanted to offer it because they are somewhat desirable, I don't use it, and someone who will use it may be looking for one.
I will also consider trades for the following firearms in nice condition (with cash either way, if indicated):
Lever action 30-30 (Savage 99 > Pre-64 Winchester 94 > Browning BLR)
Winchester 88 in .308
Stainless 4-6 barrel DA 22LR, either a pre-lock Smith, SP101, or GP100
Stainless 4-6" barrel Smith .357 (pre-lock) or Ruger GP100
Marlin 39 or 39A (no cross hammer safety models)
JM stamped Marlin lever action rifles in .357 or .44
Nicely built Ruger 10/22
A nice 9mm carry pistol - Kimber Solo, EMP, etc.
Possibly a bolt action elk rifle
