I went with the Magpul for my VTR.
I'm a big Magpul fan, and for that price you can't beat it. This is my hunting rifle and I'm not shooting it for comps. So the ergonomics and weight of the Magpul fit me perfectly.

I did want it in OD green which wasn't available yet so I went for the black because I'm impatient.

Next I'm buying a Timney 510 to put in it.

I would like to get it ceracoted in multicam, but that's down the road.

The vtr barrel fits in that stock good?

Yeah, I first thought it would except it, but Magpul said it was good. And it fits perfectly.

have you considered the orias chassis? replaceable stock so you can go with and XLR, luth, PRS, etc.


Don't give up on the AI chassis. I was able to pick one up through a trade with another member on Snipershide.

I would have went with the LSS MDT chassis had the magpul not cone out
