I've had this for a few years, however with neck/back problems I can no longer risk shooting it. It mostly just sat in my safe anyways, I haven't hunted in over 18 years.
It's a Remington 700 BDL "Safari" in 8mm Rem Mag. (The parent case is .375 H&H magnum). It has a 24" factory ported barrel. It's in good condition, with a little fading at the muzzle and some fading spots/marks on the barrel (no scratches). Also a few small dings in the wood. Factory drilled and tapped for iron sights. Will come with Leupold scope mounts/rings. 8mm Rem. Mag. will take down any and all big game in the Americas and, as Remington suggests with the model name, can be used for big game safaris in Africa.
Was asking $1200.....

$1050 for rifle/rings/mounts & 40 rnds (thats 1/2 price on about 1yr old ammo).
Possibly interested in trade/part trade. Maybe a bolt gun in 7.62x39, or .223/5.56 (i.e. Mossberg MVP, prefer threaded). Ruger American (takes AR mags). Maybe a compact carry (i.e. Kimber ultra carry II, para warthog, etc.). Neck/back problems won't let me shoot the big calibers anymore... needs to be about .308 or less. Open to multi-gun trades, prefer shooters, don't mind if they don't look pretty.
