Sorry for the slow response. I do not see any crack. Are you thinking there's one in the stock? The grain might appear that way but I sure don't see a crack.

I see what you're talking about after I reviewed the pics. I've studied the stock and there is no crack there. It must just be a light reflection. Strange indeed. Gremlins..!
