Any local smiths that know how to fix/modify the interceptor stud? The actual stud/post that the interceptor pivots on has broke off the receiver, have a new stud and circlip on order but interested in the flat head allen screw/bushing repair.
I have seen a couple of these that were broken off. I have just sent them back to Temington to repair, as I didnt have the dimensions to drill the hole. And Remington did not want to supply me with the print.
Yeah, Remington will repair it, I guess it can be a common breakage. The one link below shows a simple screw/stud repair. Also, Gander Mountain has gunsmithing services for $125 to make the repair. Was hoping a local had some experience. I have one smith in Vancouver that may take a swing at it once I receive a new stud/circlip, but it is definitely a precision drill.
