reciever engraving

Im thinking of getting a SBRed Krink can someone please explain what has to be engraved on the reciever any exactly why it needs to be done.

If you are getting one (buying) you don't need anything engraved. If you are doing a form1 , you are the mfg. If this is the case your name (same as form1) And the city and state (same as on form1) Abbreviations Are OK from my understanding : A. Lastname, City, OR. The reason for this is because you are now the mfg of the rifle, and mfg and location must be on the firearm. They have good info here: Class 3 info
