    I was at starbucks up here during the chistmas week. The DNR officers were in there so I asked if one was a guy I had called about some campers,blah,blah,blah
    They were wearing these OD green jump suits,said this was the first time he had ever gone without just plane clothes.
    now they are getting all militarized up too it seems

    All the agencies are on the DHS bandwagon. Next thing you know, the dog catcher is going to be rolling in an Abrams and have a Barrett 50 cal.

    You're seriously worried about a group of park rangers ... with guns ... in Texas?

    I agree that the militarization and everything that comes with it from no-knock warrants and promoting cavalier attitudes towards "civilians" is already way out of hand elsewhere around the country. This however is probably both a really poor example and a really great cover for any problematic upsurge in arming .gov since it looks like Texas being Texas.
