After the Appleseed shoot this weekend, I have decided to take two accessories off of my AR15. I had installed a Bi-pod at the front of the rail which blocked the use of my sling swivel at the bottom of the FSB, so I also added a rail-mounted sling adapter on the left rail. Well, I found that this made the sling very difficult to use as a shooting aid when mounted this way, so both parts have to go.
RSA: Quality sling mount for any picatinny rail, made by Midwest Industries. I bought this from Curt's on Friday for $40; will sell for $30.
Bi-pod: I bought this from a dealer at the last gun show. It is not a name-brand, but it seems well-made and worked very well for the day and a half it was on my rifle. Paid $30; will sell for $20. SOLD
