Hey all. I'm trying to sell my Xmacro. I listed it a month ago and it's pretty bogged down. I had a few trades but since have purchased one. My question is, with a price drop and updated trades. Should I post a new ad or just comment updates on current ad? I'm new to this forum and don't want to go about it incorrectly

You could do both. You can always edit the add/title to reflect what you're asking. And bump it as time allows.

For example I had a G26 listed as a complete gun. I ended up selling the slide so I just edited my add to show the frame and mags for sell. Adjusted the price and re-uploaded new photos.

If you're gunna post a new add just make sure to lock the original add to avoid duplicates.

@wcasey755 you have it listed for a decent price. Especially with the light and holsters as long as the buyer is a RH shooter. Stuff just isn't selling right now unfortunately. The more trades you add the better. Good luck with the sale/trade. Glocks and SIGs have a super saturated market and they are hard to sell unless you really drop the price.

You could also sell the FCU separately. And then sell the grip module/slide/mags and holsters as a bundle. Only bad thing doing that is if the FCU sells and the other stuff doesn't you're stuck with parts you can't use.

I used to be pretty invested in the P320/P365 side of things. And when I sold all my stuff I did it this way because of how module they are. But it took time and patience.

People try and sell Glocks for $400-$500 bucks used and you can buy them new for a little more than that. Factor in the transfer fees and drive/time it makes more sense to just buy new at that point.

I appreciate that. I was worried I had it priced to high and nobody cared about the extras. At this point the only thing I'm really after is a comp sized red dot or a shield x or M&P carry comp. Luckily I'm not In a huge hurry. Just need to get a suppressor by January before it goes insane lol

Unfortunately accessories don't add much value, even though they cost you plenty.

If I were you I'd create 2 adds. I'd sell the gun and mags for $500 on one add. On the other I'd sell the holsters, light, etc for $100ish. That gets you your $600 but opens up your adds to more people. A lot of people already have 365s and want a light and holster but don't want a complete other gun.

May want to hit bump/renew tab in ad as it does not bump it just by posting in it, you need to hit the tab. I do not see it in the handguns list as ever being bumped as it is on page 19............in the august 10th area (the date it was posted.
This is why it is not getting noticed

My above link to the (how to use the classifieds) has the info you need to actually bump the ad.

Thank you!

Sometimes ads get cluttered with comments that may or may not be negative but cluttered nonetheless and unhelpful to the ad, if its been around a while, reposting it can help give it a clean prospective.
