I took this theory when to the range yesterday with Glock 21sf, Glock 22, Glock 17, Glock 19 and Glock 22 lonewolf conversion barrel for glock 22. They all in third gen glocks and I tried to slam the mags in as hard as I can and still no luck to get the slide closed. I want to get the slide closed when I insert a fully mag... if anyone ever find out how to make it happen please let me know. TIA

It stands to reason that if the slide will close on an empty mag, that it won't hang open on an empty mag, and would have to be manually cycled/racked when you inserted a loaded mag.
Make sense?

My FNP 45 will release the slide if I insert a mag with more force than required.
I tried it after reading about others having it happen.
I see no reason to insert a mag that hard.
Wear and tear being my first concern, that and I am used to pulling the slide back to release.
