Hey all,

I'm a quadrail fan. I own Larue, CMT, Midwest, AT3, SMOS, and Noveske quadrailed rifles. I like all of them, and with some surprises. AT3 is the best bang for the buck, even though it gets a bad rap from a lot of gunners because it's downright cheap. I've never had any issues with them.

I have 4 Larue quadrail rifles. They are very sturdy and very heavy.

CMT seems to be reasonably priced, light, and very sturdy—no issues with any of them. The weight does not really bother me on any of them. Even my SBRs have quadrails.

If you use them, what's your favorite?

If not, what's your favorite handguard?

Welcome. Quadrails seem to have fallen out of favor and people complain that it hurts their delicate hands  I like them but only have a few guns with them. Here's 2 I can think of. I have a 1 or 2 others but can't think ofnwhatbthey are off the top of my head.

Welcome. 🙋‍♂️

Only owned 1 "quad rail" and to me it was way too cumbersome especially since the only thing I have mounted on a handguard are sights and a sling mount.

I am a Dirty Bird SMRS Handguard fan boy from AR15 Discounts. They only have front and rear pic rail sections, are light as heck and the extra chingadera for tightening to the barrel nut is sweet.

Dis my baby. I do love the look of a quad rail, but it's definitely heavier for a little guy like me. I'm just not willing to spend the money for a whole new MLOK.

Quads are fine. I have one on an M4gery, to be clone correct-ish.

I do prefer slimmer mlok rails at this point though, so I can get more hand around the rail.

Personal choice

I don't care for them, as the circumference is too large for me, and I've got good sized paws.

Having to operate a light along with a IR/laser pack while still maintaining a solid grip while firing rapid or fa, can make things a bit difficult.
