WTS OR Quackenbush Safety Rifle .22

An unusual take-down, swing-breach, single-shot design manufactured by the same company that probably made the nutcracker you have in the kitchen. Made from 1896 until 1922. No serial number so I don't know when this particular example was made.

The good;
Bore is immaculate
Forearm is in nice condition
Functions properly
Complete

The bad;
Some rust spots on the barrel and a few on the action
Stock is split through the mounting screw

Asking $350. Only trade I know I'm interested in is a Marlin Model 62 in .256 Win. Mag. with cash on my end, but feel free to offer 'em up.

Yes - interesting action. The firing pin/etc. looks similar to that on my Pack Rifle. Simple and reliable.

I find it a little hard on the eyes but I think that any restoration would be pretty straight forward.

Tell me friend, does it handle .22LR cartridges, and about how long is the barrel?
