Colt SAA has a design flaw that you can't hot load a 45colt. Bolt cut centers on the thinnest part of the cylinder. I would use a 44 special like Elmer did after he blew up a 45 Colt saa.

Nighthawk is an offshoot of Wilson, so I've shied away from them. I wouldn't put Ed Brown ahead of Wilson though

You can download 45lc, but your can't shoot 44spc I'm a 45lc.

I keep my 45 lc at 850 fps for my Colts and only use lead 250 grain bullets with unique powder. I use jackets and ruger loads for my Winchester so it's easier to know the difference.

Love the 44 special in Colts SAA.
