Thankyou. I had assumed that they went through state BGC. Shows you how much I know.I've been told by numerous gun stores that suppressors won't be affected, as they never go through a state level BGC. I hope that's correct, as I'm just getting ready to start buying a few.
Am I correct in my understanding that even after filling it out, it never gets submitted to anyone?You do have to fill out a ATF form 4473 upon picking up a suppressor once you get your tax stamp. But like @Elv8DM said you do not have to go through the NICS background check.
There are no concrete answers but the LGS I have talked to are under the impression that suppressors will not be affected by 114….
Find the price of the suppressor you want. Add 200.00 for the Tax stamp and a whole lot of sitting around, waiting, for a call to come get it 6-12 months later. Haha.What's the approximate cost in addition to the suppressor?
