You mean State, right.... Right.... Right?
It's an evil and cancerous tumor, my friend. Just look at what they are passing in constitution loving Texas and Tennessee these days. Every day sick minds are thinking up more depravity that can't be un-thought. Though they may not all be original ideas, there always seems to be a twisted few who think they are good ideas that need to be revived and relabeled.

Yup. Or what they are passing in border towns. Complete violations of the fourth amendment and in Texas a major over reach on the first amendment. Left, right, center. They are all the same. All they want is control.

DAM, why didn't *I* think of that??

Crap. Now I have to take pictures of my mags all over again. o_O
To be fair, at your age, you might be able to fit all your mags in one picture and still have tube sock left to spare...

My plan is to hire a team of credible witnesses to testify that my mags were all acquired prior to any bans.

Photo worriers need to recall exactly WHY the idiot legislators put the following type of phrase in their gun bans:
"If any part of this law is overturned, it shall not be cause for the rest of the restrictions to be overturned".

Basically- Requiring YOU to prove that something that was 100% legal when you acquired it will not withstand court challenges, not when everyone knows it was 100% legal up until a certain time. It is literally the weakest part of any gun/mag ban law.

Incorrect. Machine guns and SBS in Wa are simple examples. One time they were legal, now they are not.

use film camera too, since digital cameras leave trace of date and location. :)
A guy could use a old digital camera that you can manually change the date as well -
It is seemingly Ludacris and unconstitutional that we have to play stupid government games -however I suppose it's always better to be safe than sorry

Either way you're going to be sorry so just stop playing their games, you're welcome.

Looking at the newish WA law where your kids can inherit your semi guns but your grandkids (or anyone else in WA) cannot, I wonder if this is a way to bleed people dry (over time) of their standard capacity mags. New owners of your gun or even your kids probably wouldn't be able to prove they owned the mags prior to the effective date.

Not many in law enforcement are even interested in firearms and haven't the faintest idea regarding date codes, etc… for magazines or whatever. They wouldn't even know what to look for if it was in their hand. I know this for a fact.

Not to beat a dead horse but you can change the dates on photos.

We don't need proof of purchase just proof of possession before the date and for that a dated photo will work. After that its up to them to prove your photo is fake.

the only question now is if the 114 law is reinstated is what was the original date and does that hold in effect? What is the new law (that repeals 114 but enacts the same thing) grandfather date?
July 1st 2026
