Edit to add, I see these vids being an example of how to make chum from clowns, the likes of we've seen in videos - getting their first motorcycle at the dealership, or those who've never trained in racing stomping on the accelerator of their Mustang GTD as they enter a curve.

If there a big drone manufacturer in that congressman's district? There is always a financial reason for this kind of crazy stuff. They don't bring up things like this for any other reason normally. Beta testing of kamikazee drones maybe? Maybe it's not drones, could be something else but there is the promise of $ behind it to certain individuals/their companies. Find who stands to gain from it financially and that will tell you the story.

Good question... Sea drones? Long range underwater torpedoes/torpedo carriers?

Ukraine has been doing sea drones for a while now... Could be a business opportunity there for old fishing boats to be converted into kamikaze drones


Edit two..on the flip side, I wouldn't be surprised if the Cartels decide to invest in unmanned drug boats/submersibles to get the cargo to US shores without loss of life but I don't know if they even care.
