Price help, early Colt SP1

I'm trying to find a price for a Colt SP1 for a friend. I looked it up on this site- http://bpullignwolnet.dotster.com/retroblackrifle/ModGde/SP1SN.html and it appears to be a 1969 Colt. I plan to go through it and verify that it's got all original Colt parts. It's used but not abused with normal storage marks, light scratches,sco but no real damage. The rifling, what I could see without a scope, looked ok.

It's Serial number is SP118XXX

I will get some images, but with just this information, does anyone have an idea of what this might be worth? I wasn't sure how much a '69 Colt would go for..? Also, what other info would I need to determine it's value other than decent pictures?

This is very true. Looking at sold GB auctions is the only way to gauge this accurately.
