Places to shoot near Lincoln City

My wife and I are headed to Lincoln City for the weekend. Wondering if there is anywhere to shoot near there? Some place close to LC and that is welcoming to out of towers. Thanks in advance for any info!

I'm visiting in a couple weeks as well. I called and asked the USFS Hebo Ranger Station and was told I can look for shooting areas in the National Forest area off NF-1726, which is off NE Devils Lake Road -> Osterman Cabin Rd. Can any locals or visitors confirm?

1726 is a fine place to shoot, I have been up there several times. I was always with a friend who knows the area, not much distance that I remember but there are a few places for pistols that aren't hard to find. Happy shooting and remember to haul out MORE than you brought in!
