Places to Shoot Near Idaho Falls

Will be in Idaho Falls next week for the fireworks and was wondering if anyone knew any good places to shoot. Not looking for ranges, just areas we can go plinking. Will be spending most of our time between Idaho Falls, West Yellowstone, and Jackson.

LOTS of public land south and east of IF.

In fact, IF is flanked to the west and East almost entirely by the peoples land.

Check out maps. Both highway 20 and sunnyside road access public land.

Beautiful, beautiful place.

On clear days keep your eyes on the East where a massive granite rock called Grand Teton juts from the earth.

BJ's Bayou in Robert's has your southern cuisine down to a T. Dishes like fried frog legs, alligator shish kabobs and crawfish jambalaya. Do it.

Also, the Henry's Fork Snake River is amazing for scenery, canoeing or fishing.
