It really is! I just get more joy out of punching paper at distance. That and burning through AR ammo is like grabbing some pretty new $20's out of an ATM and then lighting them on fire. Sure .308, 300wm is spendy, but when you only shoot 20 rounds a session, it's a lot less expensive than 200 rounds of .223.
