Im building a 1911, the frame is used and already has a parkerized finish on it. Everything else will be new or blued. I've had a few things cerakoted before and they turned out well but I'd like to find someone in the Portland/Salem area that does parkerizing. There will be several small parts with really tight tolerances so cerakoting makes me nervous and I don't know that I love the way bluing looks. Any other options that I've overlooked for a black/dark finish with corrosion protection and recommendations for who could do the job? Thanks!

Velzey did my WW2 Remington Rand 1911a1 and was kind enough to let me watch while he did his magic.
I bought some cosmoline grease and while the parts were still hot, I lathered everything in the cosmoline to help get that certain color.
I sat the parts under a heat lamp and let the grease soak in for a couple of weeks.
I really like shooting this old 1944 bring back pistol.
