P80 Compact Gen1 or Gen2?

So I'm finally ready to try a P80 G19 build.
Does it matter which Gen of frame to use?
I've seen the Gen1 Compact frames, but I haven't come across any Gen2.
Should I just get the Gen1?
Please let me know what you guys think.

I believe they have modified some of the metal parts enough that a Gen2 would be desirable but if you can only find a Gen1 then go for it! There are certainly enough tricks and videos out there to troubleshoot any issues. They're fun to build for sure!

I was at Cabelas Tualatin this afternoon. They have P80's in their pistol case. Go check them out. They looked like Glocks to me.
