Call them? Places will increase their rates, it's best to go directly to the horse.

They are closed today....just thought I'd ask and maybe get an answer from those that may be frequently in there doing business.

Why not use Capital Armory and have it shipped to your door?

Buy suppressor from Capital Armory, they have shops in all states so they can ship to your door. You fill out the normal paperwork, finger prints, photo, stamp, etc. then when they get the AFT approval, they have to send your info to the local LEO, usually Sheriff, and you fill out a 4473 online. Once they get local LEO approval/wait short period of a week or so, they ship to your door with adult signature required.

Thanks my man, I never knew this was an option!!
It's really easy. Use the "send the finger print" option. They'll give you a link to upload a photo. It adds about two weeks to the process of you were to do it local, but not all shops may carry what you want. Also, my local suppressor shop kiosk operator believes that they need to run a NICS check, and they don't give a 3-day release, so I'll shop elsewhere.

Capitol Armory as above if Silencer Shop doesn't sell it.
ORW will have you fill in a 4473, but it's free.
Has anyone not got their can or had it delayed because of the 4473?
I've picked up 6 (4 from ORW) last year and walked out with them.

Also check out AFS in Oregon city, see what they charge for NFA, they're a great store and the cheapest for a lot of transfers.

I was afraid of getting a delay during the 114 rush.

Great...looks like I may be ordering a 'whisper pickle' for lunch today!!!
They'll send you a finger print card and you mail it back. So I guess it adds probably three to four weeks if someone has it in stock local.

I like ORW( bought from them before) but they use Silencershop and they never have what I want in stock.
So you're saying + 3 or 4 weeks to buy from Capital as opposed to if someone local has it, correct?!

which can are you buying ?
Have you signed up for SS notifications on out of stock items ? Their website lags behind. I got an email and purchased/recieved my Obsidian before it showed "in stock" on their site....

All dealers will require you to fill out a 4473 when you pick up the item, but that should be all you're doing. They have a release code they put in because it was an NFA item. I know of some dealers that think they need run an actual NICS for a NFA pick-up, but they don't.

Yeah, 3-4 weeks additional to mail you the finger card, you mail it back, and then they mail the LEO authorization and have a minimum wait for them if they don't approve, mine didn't.
