Oregon machine gun laws

hypothetically lets say I have a friend that gave me a H&R Reising model 55 paratrooper folding stock 45 cal select fire

whats the requirement to be legal with Oregon machine gun laws
also whats the value of one of these if its a shooter

Well---hypothetically speaking---you either have one heck of a friend or a big problem.

If it's a operational Reising and on the NFA registry and you got it transfered to yourself on the
proper forms and tax---that's one heck of a gift. Just guessing, value of $8,000 or so?

If it's operational and NOT on the registry, you just posted pictures etc. of a gun that will
get you about 10 years in Federal prison.

There are no Oregon specific machine gun laws that I know of. If it's allowed under
Federal law it's good to go in Oregon.

OR allows MG so that part is not a problem. The problem comes in finding out if the gun is legal or not.
