Generally, need someone affected by the law - usually after it takes effect - to file suit.

Ok, so they did not get away with the no carry on "Grounds" BS that they did with schools. The bolded "special district, controls a public building and used for official meetings" are concerning. A small room in the corner of a large complex "used for official meetings" could put several block of public buildings off limits to patriots.

For example Metro deciding to hold an official meeting at the Oregon Zoo magically makes all of their buildings a Gun Free / Criminals Welcome Zone!

You could just try a different brace, such as the SBA3 or SBA4, they're way better than the magpul.
Used ones pop up in the classifieds fairly regularly, new ones are $69 from PA:
Yep exactly what I ended up doing was just purchasing a much better pistol brace and now I am loving it. My local range allows it since its a pistol too so Ive run 500 rounds through it and its loud and really fun to shoot.

So Ive been trying to follow on this 114 and all the nonsense its coming with and I am still unclear and google gets me so many answers Im hoping someone here can help!
I purchased an SBR online and got it shipped to my local shop and it was handed over with no issue. I want to put a rifle stock on it and at no point in time was I told by the shop I needed to register it but from
a google search its telling me I do need to register it but wont pay a fee? Please help me out and sorry if this is a stupid question.

UPDATE: I just ended up keeping it as a pistol and getting a better pistol brace so it doesnt dig into my shoulder when I shoot it so now Its great and much easier to shoot. Thank you all for your help!

If my math is right. Sept 26th, 2025 will be the date that the "Rapid Fire Activator" ban, from SB243, will go into effect.

If you are buying or selling over the table, don't snooze.

Keep in mind that the "Rapid Fire Activator" ban is pretty nasty if you get caught with one. You can own it and keep it in your home but that's about it.

Keep in mind that the "Rapid Fire Activator" ban is totally unconstitutional.

Do what you will but I think it's a pretty crappy thing to sell one of these to anybody in this state knowing full well they will be illegal soon. At the very least make sure they understand the situation before taking their money. I had a guy in Washington want a P365XL grip module and I had to explain to him that he wouldn't be able to use it unless he bought the 12 round mags to go along with them. I could have just sold it to him and said sorry do your research but I'm not that kind of guy. Rare breed some might say.

On the other hand, plenty of people who could have literal standing for any lawsuit relating to this in either State or Fed Court ;)

Head of the Oregon senate judiciary committee, traffic court Floyd, is on record as saying it's OK to possess them and keep them in the bottom of your safe. First lawsuit should have his recorded comments, while seated on the diaz as committee chair, during a SB243 hearing, submitted as exhibit one.

Sounds great, but that would hold as much legal weight as suing for failure to keep campaign promises.....
